This is my little practice of saying Hullo to the Week, as inspired by Havi’s Hello, day exercise: an opening ritual for conscious intention setting that seems to just make everything go so much better.  Yays!  You can see my first post on this for a longer explanation, if you’re into that sort of thing.

Hullo, week!

Nice to make your acquaintance.  I’m not even going to mention the Tuesday thing this time.

What I’d like from you:

Dear week, you are full of things that I have arranged and now I am getting stressed out about how I can do all those things whilst staying grounded and sovereign and taking care of myself and my energies.

So I would like to play with energy this week.  Force-fielding and clearing out and bringing things back to their essence, with the help of the devas (a Hiro-word for the energetic presences that hold the patterns of things in their purest forms – kind of like the core spirit of a thing).

I would like to spend time tuning in when there’s resistance inside me, because it turns out that 1. the internal resistance is caused by me trying my best to ignore a part of me that is trying it’s best to get my attention, and 2. that it’s trying to get my attention because it has very useful things to tell me.  I’m pretty sure I already had that realisation, several times over – and here I am, having it again.  Or getting it on a deeper level.

And while we’re at it, I’d love to have some sudden burst of insight on interior decorating (literal interior decorating, that is), and for beautiful, second-hand pieces of furniture to fall into my lap and then sprawl there sexily, waiting to be taken.

The qualities & essence of the week

[+ connection & grounding]
[+ spaciousness]
[+ permission for things to take time]
[+ ACTION!]
[+ lightness]

Something I’d like to do for my body this week

Go to a dance class and have a massage… Oh, look!  I’ve got those things booked in already!  Ha.  I would also like to drink copious amounts of water, which is much more likely to happen now that I have a lovely glass water jug.  Yay, small cogs!

Slightly-Future-Me says:

This working-with-energies stuff is exactly what you need, and exactly the right timing.  Very exciting!  Remember the experiment mindset, and that you can try things and not like them and that’s okay.  Remember that you can change your mind.

Keep filling up your love of beauty and aesthetics.  You might want to talk to the selves who struggle with this one.  There is essence underneath the struggle.

Allies, resources and support

Devas.  Touching trees.  Smelling the jasmine growing in our garden.  Friends.  This vintage post from the Havs.

What this week could be like

Delightful and playful and gentle and full of wonder.  Finding little openings.  Full of beauty and noticing beauty and connecting to the essence and power of beauty.  Some crazy, quirky mix of mad scientist + childlike glee and experimentation.

Comment Zen!

Hullo, lovely to have you here!

As always, the usual comment zen applies: we’re all working with our stuff (including me), and we give each other space and love to do it in.   Noticing where our stuff gets triggered + not throwing our stuff at other people = safe space to explore.

If you’d like to play with me in saying Hullo to the week, that’d be a whole lot of fun for me.  Community!  Comradeship!  All those other good things.  You could join in silently and that would still be lovely and appreciated.

Adorations!

p.s. By the way, the itsy-bitsy teeny-weeny comment button is up there, by the post title.  I know it’s not the most practical of comment buttons, but you have to admit it’s pretty cute.
